Happy Sunday purples!

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.  I sure have!  My beautiful niece got married yesterday and so my weekend has been extremely busy, but definitely worth every minute of the craziness!

The topic of my blog this week is actually about an audio that I was listening to this morning.  It was an interview with Louise Hay and she spoke about a whole range of things.  A couple of things in particular struck a cord with me and I wanted to pass them on because I thought others could benefit as well.

Many of us struggle with our weight because we don’t love ourselves.  We don’t think we are important, we don’t believe that we are enough, we don’t think that we are worthy.  Many people don’t even realise that they have those beliefs about themselves.  If you know that you have any of those beliefs, then I am sure that you are working on them as so many of us are.  I myself have struggled with those very same beliefs over the course of my life and I am a continuing work in progress when it comes to them.  Each day I love myself a little bit more and the following morning ritual that Louise Hay performs every day is one that I am going to add to my daily routine.  Firstly, think about the first thought that crosses your mind when you wake up every morning.  Is it positive or negative?  If it is negative, have a positive affirmation or statement ready that you can immediately replace it with.  This is the first thing Louise does before she gets out of bed every morning.  Then, the first thing she does once she gets out of bed is to go to the mirror, look at herself and say, “Louise, I love you!  I really, really love you!”.

I am definitely going to be taking a leaf out of Louise Hay’s book and I think a lot of us could benefit from learning to love ourselves more.

Have a great week everyone and remember…….you ARE important, you ARE enough, you ARE worthy and you ARE loved!
